Semi-Auto Pistol Instructor Certification Course

This hybrid 40-hour (12 hours online / 28 hours in-person) instructor certification course is designed to certify candidates as a law enforcement semi-auto pistol instructor. Upon successful completion candidates will be qualified to conduct daytime & nighttime semi-auto pistol training for recruits & sworn officers as well as conduct semi-auto pistol qualifications.

Required Equipment:

  • Duty pistol and three magazines. Weapon mounted light optional, but preferred
  • Duty holster and magazine pouch(s) for

two magazines

  • 600 rounds of pistol ammo
  • Eye & ear protection (clear eye pro for night shoot)
  • Hat with a brim
  • Hand-held flashlight
  • Knee and elbow pads
  • Black marker
  • Weather-related gear
  • Hydration fluids & snacks

Candidates must fit into one of these three membership categories to register and attend. Check our website for membership category details.

    • Law Enforcement - $50 annually
    • Military - $40 annually
    • Security Industry - $60 annually (restrictions apply)
    • Private Sector - $60 annually (restrictions apply)

 

 

The online portion of this course will begin ten (10) days before the start date of the in-person training.
