Susie Pryor

Susie Pryor joined the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) in 2026 as the Business Director. She brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning business development, higher education, economic development, and nonprofit management.

Susie began her career in public safety, serving as a police dispatcher and in child support enforcement with the Douglas County District Attorney's Office. Those early experiences fostered a lasting appreciation for the law enforcement profession and continue to inform her work at KLETC.

Prior to joining KLETC, Susie served as Regional Director of the Central California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the University of California, Merced, where she led a multi-county program providing business advising, training, and capital access services to entrepreneurs throughout Central California. She also served as Associate State Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Kansas Small Business Development Center.

Formerly an Associate Professor of Business, Susie holds a Ph.D. in Business from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, an MBA from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and a Master of Advanced Study in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University. Over the past two decades, she has taught undergraduate and graduate business courses at several AACSB-accredited universities and continues to serve as an adjunct faculty member. She is also a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP).

At KLETC, Susie is responsible for simplifying and advancing business operations and supporting the Center's mission of providing exceptional training and professional development for Kansas law enforcement.
