Biography —
Scot joined KLETC in July 2011 after serving over six years as the Anderson County Sheriff. He began his law enforcement career in 1995 as an Anderson County deputy sheriff. Following his employment with Anderson County, Scot worked for the Louisburg Police Department. In a brief absence from law enforcement, Scot entered the classroom as a high school teacher in USD 365.
Scot holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education and a master’s degree, both from Emporia State University.
Scot was promoted to Assistant Director, Curriculum & Testing in 2018.
