Heather Buller

Heather joined the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) in 2011 and has served at every level of the Professional Continuing Education (PCE) Unit, from Program Coordinator to her current role as Associate Director, which she assumed in 2021.

Prior to joining KLETC, Heather spent nearly 10 years with the Regional Community Policing Institute at Wichita State University, where she led training and technical assistance efforts primarily in Kansas and Nebraska, as well as several national initiatives that reached law enforcement professionals from coast to coast.

Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Wichita State University and a Master of Education in Learning Design and Training from Colorado State University.

She has served on numerous statewide and regional advisory boards supporting law enforcement training initiatives in crisis response, officer wellness, adult learning, and instructor development.
