Level II Intermediate Collision Investigation

This course builds upon what you have learned in Level I Basic Collision Investigations and helps you to learn and work with more complex vehicle dynamics in collisions as well as kinetic energy and momentum. This course is for a law enforcement officer that has completed the Level I Basic Collision Investigation course (or its equivalent).

Speed Estimates - You will learn to analyze the information to determine what happened before, during, and after the collision

Vehicle Dynamics - You will learn the conservation of momentum as well as other time, distance and motion equations

Scene Evidence - You will learn how to document, preserve and record the scene evidence and prepare scale diagrams from that evidence.
