Emergency Notifications

The Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) uses a range of tools to keep students, staff and visitors informed in the event of an emergency that could affect their health and safety. These tools include:

• text messaging
• campus email
• public address speakers
• the @kletc handle on Facebook
• this webpage

Alerts are sent when there is an immediate threat to the campus and in situations requiring immediate action.

Separately, KLETC also sends alerts when campus is closed due to winter weather, and issues alerts for severe weather such as tornado's, flooding or dangerous lightning.
