First Responder Photography & Forensic Evidence

Optimum Forensic Solutions is presenting a course designed for patrol officers/first responders. This course will focus on proper photography techniques for first responders who utilize digital Point and Shoot style cameras and will introduce the various types of Forensic Evidence that may be located on scene.

First Responders are in a unique position to observe the scene in as close to an original condition as possible. Officers need to understand the types of evidence that may be located on scene and how to protect the evidence from being contaminated/destroyed.

Recognizing potential evidence starts with understanding its probative value, so time will be spent discussing what types of information can be obtained from various types of evidence analysis.
