Drug Conspiracy Investigations
Course Description:
Battling drug trafficking in your jurisdiction can be a daunting and frustrating task. Drug traffickers do not operate alone, and do not recognize jurisdictional boundaries. It is critical that drug investigators are equipped with the training and knowledge to battle these organizations that seek to profit off of the misery they create in your community. This class will provide drug investigators with critical tools to utilize existing law to disrupt, dismantle and eliminate these organizations. Conspiracy investigations require investigators to utilize intelligence resources, collaborate with other agencies and partner with prosecutors to be successful. This training will lay out in detail all of these aspects and teach students how to develop, build and complete a drug conspiracy investigation.
Core Competencies:
- Participants will develop procedural knowledge of federal, state and local laws as they pertain to the actions of law enforcement officers and the enforcement of those laws.
- Participants will employ best practices as they investigate any crime from its beginning to its eventual disposition; either as an individual, or as part of an investigatory team.

Please dress in layers, as the temperature in the room may be difficult to adjust. The session begins at 8:00AM and is estimated to end at 5:00PM. On-site registration will begin at 7:30AM.
A refund less a $10.00 cancellation fee will be assessed for all cancellations made in writing prior to 10 days before the start of the event. After that time, no refunds will be made.
