Ballistic Shield Instructor School

Course Synopsis: This course provides an overview of case law, risk management strategies, and instructor development followed by hours of hands-on, scenario-based training and range time. Topics covered include; 1) Current Case Law, 2) Instructor Development, 3) Proper Communication, 4) Use of the Shield (i.e. Mounting, Stacks, Movement, etc.), 5) Strategies for Entry, 6) Firearms Manipulation while Utilizing the Shield (i.e. One-Handed Shooting, Clearing Malfunctions, Conducting Reloads).
