Officer Survival / Defensive Tactics

This course will provide officers more tools to utilize in the event de-escalation techniques fail. Officer survival, de-escalation, situational awareness, and proper use of force will be emphasized during instruction. Footwork, striking, takedowns, control and handcuffing techniques, weapon retention, and ground combatives are just some of what will be covered.
