Stinger Spike System Training

Stinger offers a three/four-hour certified training class. This class is designed as a train the Trainer type course. Each participant will receive a factory certificate from Federal Signal Stinger Spike Systems.

The class consists of approximately 1 hour of classroom instruction covering pursuit policies, safety issues, and deployment methods. The class then moves outside for approximately 3 hours of hands-on training. Each officer will be instructed on the pull method and curbside deployment method, using our spikeless training units. Vehicles will be used during this time to create “real-life” scenarios.
