The Valley Center Police Department in conjunction with Kansas Operation Lifesaver, will be hosting a Railroad Investigation and Safety Courses (RISC) on Tuesday, September 24th from 10am to 3pm. There will be a 1 hour lunch break. This is a free training class on the topic of how to work railroad incidents. This includes collisions with motor vehicles, pedestrians, other trains, derailments and working incidents near or on railroad property. Class size is limited to 25 people.
